STRANGE replaces the static waveshaper with living mathematics. Feed your signal into Lorenz and Logistic chaos systems - attractors that never repeat - and get distortion that breathes, shifts, and evolves. Drive the chaos harder and it warps deeper. Pull back and it colors. The curve is never the same twice. - DRIVE - How deep your signal enters the chaos system. From subtle coloring to full saturation. - CHAOS - Adjusts the density and intensity of the chaotic attractor. Turn it up for wild, unpredictable distortion. - FEEDBACK - Routes the output back into the chaos system. Adds resonance and self-oscillating character. - MODES - Four distortion characters: Fold (wavefolding), Shatter (quantized scatter), Warp (domain warp), Glitch (block displacement). - TONE - Post-distortion tonal shaping. Sculpt the frequency content after the chaos. - MIX - Dry/wet blend. Full wet for pure chaos, blended back for parallel processing. - OUTPUT - Final output level. Compensate for the gain added by drive and feedback. - AUv3 PLUGIN - Run STRANGE inside AUM, ApeMatrix, Audiobus, or any AUv3 host. Multiple instances, each with independent settings. - WORKS ON - iPhone and iPad, all modern screen sizes.
Version History - Fixed a crash that could occur when switching audio devices (e.g. AirPods to audio interface) while the plugin is running in a host like AUM 1.0.4 May 25 - Multi-touch, double-tap reset, copy/paste fix - Fixed silent presets, Mix slider wet/dry - WKWebView crash recovery - Help button + ATM logo link 1.0.3 May 11 STRANGE arrives on the App Store. Four distortion modes powered by mathematical chaos — Lorenz and Logistic attractors reshape your signal in ways no static waveshaper can. Drive it softly for color. Drive it hard for chaos. - Fixed multi-touch: drag multiple sliders simultaneously on iPad - Fixed UI resizing in AUM - Fixed long-press triggering copy/paste menu - Added double-tap to reset knobs and sliders 1.0.1 May 9 1.0 May 7
